Response
Some rules begin with “Response:” Each of these effects on a card in play resolve at the time specified by their rules text and must resolve if possible.
If the rules text on a moment begins with "Response:," you can play that card at the specified time. This might be during your turn, during other Rangers’ turns, or even during other phases of the game.
- If a response effect on a path card in play contains a decision, such as something containing "may," the Ranger who is taking the current turn chooses whether or not to resolve the effect.
- You do not have to play moment cards that start with "Response:" It is always your choice.
If a response effect on a card explicitly resolves from an out of play state (such as when you draw it), it can resolve even though it is not yet in play.
