📄️ Gear
Gear are Ranger cards that have ongoing effects or abilities that you can trigger during your turn (or at other times specified on the card). When they are played, gear cards are equipped by being placed into your player area and stay there until you choose to discard them.
📄️ General Tokens
Many cards make use of unique tokens to track the number of times they can be used. These cards are marked with a number and name for the tokens in a box on the right side of the card. When one of these cards enters play, place a number of general use tokens on this card equal to that number.
📄️ The Golden Rule
Like many card games that have come before it, Earthborne Rangers follows the “Golden Rule.” That is, this rules document contains all of the basic rules and procedures for the game. These rules, however, were designed to be bent, and even broken, by the text on the cards. If ever a rule on a card contradicts a rule found in this document, the rule on the card takes precedence.
📄️ Group Tests
Some cards call for a group test. These tests represent more daunting tasks that require the Rangers to work together. These tests typically have difficulty values that scale based on how many Rangers are in the game.
