After a moment to rest and take in the spectacular view, you turn your attention to the ominous stormcloud that brought you here. In the center of the gray nimbus, you spot the silhouette of a rocky peak—another mountaintop, shrouded in the mist. But as you peer inside the storm, the astounding truth dawns on you. The rocky shape is not a mountain, but a floating island!

You stagger as the realization of what you are seeing takes hold. How could such a thing be possible? You shake your head, press your palms into your eyes, and look again. As before, the island continues to hang suspended in the clouds, a flurry of snow falling all around it. You stare in disbelief for several minutes before recovering your wits.

This is indeed no ordinary storm. Curiosity and a growing sense of adventure beckon you. Somehow, you have to find a way to get onto that island. But how? Peering about in thought, the solution presents itself to you: an old spiderline in disrepair, frost clinging to its nanowire. If you can fire a new spiderline from the nearby stanchion and latch it somewhere solid, you may be able to ride it to the island.
