211. Parental Bond
As you come to a clearing, you find yourself face-to-face with an animal and its offspring. You'll have to approach this situation with care. Parents are understandably protective of their young.
Depending on your current terrain, attach Parental Bond to a copy of the corresponding parent and search the General set for its corresponding young (both listed below). If a copy of the corresponding parent is not in play, search the path deck and discard for one, put it into play, then attach Parental Bond to it.
- Woods: Parent: Prowling Wolhund / Young: Wolhund Pup
- Old Growth: Parent: Dozing Bearsloth / Young: Bearsloth Cub
- Mountain Pass: Parent: Pouncing Atrox / Young: Atrox Cub
- Grasslands: Parent: Hungry Scrof / Young: Scrof Shoat
- Lakeshore: Parent: Romping Lutrinal / Young: Lutrinal Pup
- River: Parent: Wading Ursus / Young: Ursus Cub
- Ravine: Parent: Skittish Opilion / Young: Opilion Eggs
- Swamp: Parent: Hydraworm / Young: Hydraworm Spawn
- Any other terrain: Discard Parental Bond and draw a new path card in its place.
