101. Severed Artery

You come to an excavated chamber. In one direction, it recedes into complete darkness; in the other, it ends abruptly. Judging by the tumbled boulders and the state of the Estian transit line, there was a cave-in here long ago, causing the line to twist and rip like the green branches of a sapling.
